Certificate Course on International Commercial Arbitration

(Code: ITP14) (2 days)

In today’s increasingly globalized economy, International Commercial Arbitration (ICA) has become a cornerstone for resolving cross-border disputes. As businesses expand beyond national borders, they often encounter complex legal disputes due to differences in laws, regulations, business practices, and cultural norms.

ICA is a complex and nuanced field central to resolving cross-border commercial disputes. At the heart of this process is the arbitrator, whose multifaceted role carries significant responsibilities.

Arbitrators must navigate complex legal issues, manage the arbitration process, and make difficult decisions while maintaining the highest standards of impartiality and independence. Arbitrators play a critical role in the success of the arbitration process and the resolution of international commercial disputes.

This comprehensive training program is designed to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of the laws and rules governing arbitration, as well as the role of the arbitrator in ICA. The program contributes to the peaceful resolution of disputes in the international commercial arena. The program will be conducted over two days, offering in-person training to enhance the learning experience and interaction.

You will be guided through the program by experienced and highly knowledgeable national and international trainers, including Mr. Friedrich Rosenfeld, Partner at Hanefeld in Paris and Global Adjunct Professor of Law at NYU Paris; Mr. Anil Xavier, Senior Advocate, President of IIAM, and Chairman of APCAM; and Ms. Iram Majid, Advocate, Director of IIAM, and Executive Director of APCAM.
